Our Story

Our story began with a struggling father and daughter who refused to give up on each other. “My father and now business partner, Stephen, struggled with addiction throughout his life. He has now been sober for over 20 years, and I have always been an active part of his sobriety and recovery. My father has gone from steps away from death to healthy sobriety and having a successful commercial building business. I think that he would say that his greatest accomplishment in sobriety is his relationship with his family and his grandson, who I named after him. He helps young people struggling with addiction every day and came to me in 2017 with an idea to start a sober house. I took it one step further, and we now have a successful and meaningful residential Pennsylvania State Licensed Drug and Alcohol Facility!” – Dr. Arianne Scheller

One Step At A Time

One Step At A Time

Endless Mountains Extended Care uses a Twelve Step model with a strong clinical and holistic component. We integrate the twelve steps into a clinical treatment plan combining cognitive behavioral therapy, meditation and mindfulness, team building, art therapy, and life skills. We also help patients gain employment and education with several offerings at our facility such as job skills and resume writing. “My father and I are thrilled that we could combine my education and counseling license with his good sobriety in order to help families who are just like ours,” says Dr. Scheller.
